Jewellery and design have always been two of my favourite interests, and my admiration for the work of gold- and silversmiths throughout history triggered my wish to be able to create beautiful things on my own.Nature, everyday life and the things we have around us are my main sources for ideas and inspiration.
For me it is a great satisfaction to have an idea and see it transform into something real. It is like an adventure, and you don't always end up where you thought you would! I make all my jewellery by hand, which means every piece is unique - although there may be several pieces based on the same idea. A few of my designs are cast, i.e. the frogs and the "bone". Also these pieces are then finished and adapted by hand to become pendants, rings or whatever ideas I have at the time. Most of my work is in 925 sterling silver, but other materials may
be available upon request.
